Intensive Indonesian

The Language Center offers an intensive program that if completed takes almost nine months of continuous study to complete. For entrance into any Unit other than Unit 1, an entrance test is necessary. The method we use requires students to study for at least the same time per day out of class as they study in class.

  • Units 1 – 3:  Beginners  - 12 weeks (120 hrs of class)

Each unit last 4 weeks (5 days per week, 2 hours classroom study per day). Materials comprise a series of dialogues and short readings. Each week includes an excursion that relates to the topic being studied, and a variety of ‘street tasks’ that encourage learners to interact with locals.
