Makassar State University (UNM) again confirmed the new bachelor of Graduation period february 2021 academic year 2020/2021, in an extraordinary open senate meeting conducted online and offline. Wednesday, (17/02/2021).
A total of 1,000 graduates and graduates spread from Diploma III (D3), Strata One (S1), Magister (S2) and Doctoral (S3) programs. The inauguration was led directly by the Rector of UNM Prof. Husain Sham.
Graduation events are held online and offline. Offline implementation is carried out in the pinisi tower theater room which represents the best graduates of each faculty.
The number of graduates from the post-graduate program was 178 people, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences 129 people, the Faculty of Engineering 118 people, the Faculty of Sports Sciences 86 people, the Faculty of Educational Sciences 189 people, the Faculty of Language and Literature 67 people, the Faculty of Social Sciences 89 people, the Faculty of Psychology 19 people, the Faculty of Arts and Design 35 people, the Faculty of Economics 90 people.
On that occasion, the Rector of UNM Prof. Husain Sham said the graduation in this period was the third time graduation conducted in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, he asserted that in the time of the UNM pandemic continued to carry out the academic process.
"Today's graduation is the third time in the midst of the covid pandemic, which is special because yes we can present offline with available rooms while still using health protocols well," said Prof. Husain.
Furthermore, Prof. Husain Sham urged the graduates not to stop studying. He quoted the Qur'anic verse about the exalted for those who believe and knowledge.
"I hope this is not the end of the learning process, in our own religion it is recommended to continue in the Quran it is said 'Allah will exalt those who believe among you and those who are given knowledge to some degree'," said Prof Husain.
As for the best graduation of each faculty and post-graduate program, namely, in the Doctoral Program achieved by Regent Luwu Dr. Drs H. Basming Mattayang, M.Pd, with a GPA of 3.95, master program achieved by Riskayani S.Pd M.Pd with a GPA of 4.00.
Meanwhile, in the undergraduate program, FMIPA was achieved by A. Mauliyana, S.Stat with gPA of 3.91, Faculty of Engineering achieved by Sinta Bela with GPA of 3.96, FIK achieved by Muhamma Rahmat, S.Or with GPA 3,88.
And, FIP was achieved by Ria Meilinda, S.Pd with a GPA of 3.89, FBS was achieved by Suci Pole Mappaita S.Pd with a GPA of 3.95, FIS was achieved by Nina Agustina, S.AP with a GPA of 3.92, the Faculty of Psychology was achieved by Arfida, S.Psi, with a GPA of 3.51, FSD achieved by Sulaiman Hasan S.Pd with a GPA of 3.75, the Faculty of Economics was achieved by Siti Miratul Khair Krispratiwi SE with a GPA of 3.88.
The graduation of the diploma program was achieved by Muh Wildan Mauludy with a GPA of 3.85 Prodi Akutansi.
