The implementation of competency-based writing examinations for joint selection of state universities (UTBK-SBMPTN) 2021 at Makassar State University (UNM) entered its fourth day, Thursday (04/15/2021).
The implementation of UTBK-SBMPTN on the fourth day was also attended by seven people with disabilities. Seven people with disabilities who took the UTBK-SBMPTN test at UNM were blind.
In the implementation of the exam, each participant with disabilities is accompanied by one supervisor who also serves as a supervisor, the implementation of the exam itself takes place at the Faculty of Economics & Business, Department of Management.
Unm Rector Prof Husain Sham said every year there are applicants from the disabled. Especially in UNM itself said he has an outstanding education department that is in it there are usually students with disabilities.
"All citizens who wish to pursue higher education should not be distinguished. For those with special needs we give as much as possible," he said accompanied by the Person in charge of UTBK-SBMPTN UNM Prof Hasnawi Haris.
He said, the implementation of UTBK-SBMPTN for disabilities is going accordingly.
It is known that UNM will carry out UTBK-SBMPTN as many as two waves. The first wave was held april 12-18 and the second wave from April 26 to May 2, 2021.
This year alone people who register and take exams at UNM increased by 2500. The total number of applicants at UNM this year is 15,886.
