Online Classroom Training Adapts New Habits as Future Needs

Makassar State University (UNM) held an Online Class Training on New Normal Habit Adaptation. which was carried out for 3 days, Friday 11 June- Sunday 13 June 2021, at the Pinisi UNM building.

The activity was carried out in cooperation with UNM with Seamolec, as a follow-up to the cooperation agreement signed by the two parties at the end of May.

The event attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, The Chairman of LP2MP, and the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs aimed to train lecturers for learning to be more proficient in managing online learning, especially the use of learning videos, Canva, Kahoot, and other applications.

as many as 70 lecturers from all faculties and programs in unm within UNM who are faculty representatives and managers of LMS System and Application Management of Open Knowledge (SYAM-OK)

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr.. Hasnawi Haris, M. Hum, in his direction revealed that UNM will continue to develop online learning as a future need.

"UNM will continue to develop and maximize online learning as a future need."

According to Hasnawi Haris, although learning will return to face-to-face, online learning will still be needed. UNM will therefore continue to make adjustments in academic regulations to accommodate the characteristics of online learning.

The training conducted in collaboration with Seamolec is an effort to increase the capacity of lecturers so that online learning is maximized.
