Makassar State University (UNM) released and received symbolically students of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program.
The activity was coupled with the launch of the MBKM-UNM Support System. The event took place on the 3rd floor of unm Pinisi tower. Tuesday (08/23/2021).
This year UNM received as many as 1700 students in the independent learning-campus program and released 1742 UNM students.
Rector of UNM Prof. Husain Sham revealed that the release and acceptance of MBKM students was an effort to provide motivation to the students.
"This is part of the process of receiving and releasing, giving high spirit and appreciation to our students," he said.
In addition, Prof. Husain also appreciated all performance achievements, the launch of the MBKM-UNM Support System, and all achievements that were good for the progress of the institution.
"I appreciate what we have given birth together, the achievements we achieve together thanks to smart work, the best work and synergy to give our best," he said.
In improving achievements, the Rector of UNM will always give space to collaborate, and innovate for the progress of the institution.
"I always give space, and every time I give space let's fill that space to collaborate, innovate, and compete, so that the achievements and programs that exist we can achieve and improve," he hoped.
