UKM MAPHAN UNM-Unit of Student Activities, Students Concerned with HIV / AIDS and NAPZA Makassar State University (UKM MAPHAN UNM) carry out annual activities carried out, namely PEN-4 (Education, Training, Prevention and Prevention of HIV / AIDS and NAPZA). PEN-4 activities are started with Indoor Activities that will be held through zoom meeting media on March 19-22, 2021.
With the theme "Realizing the Creative, Innovative and High Integrity Generation in Increasing Caring". This activity was opened by Prof. Dr.. Sukardi Veda, S.S., M. Hum. As Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni of UNM. The opening of PEN-4 was held by prospective new members of MAPHAN SMEs from various departments in UNM as many as 104 participants, Board of Trustees, Administrators and All MEMBERS of MAPHAN SMEs.
Pen-4's activities aim to find new cadres who are Creative, Innovative and of high integrity in MAPHAN SMEs, provide materials about HIV / AIDS and Drugs and provide experience in Public Speaking.
Chairman of the PEN-4 Committee, Abd Fatir said, PEN-4 aims to recruit new members to THE MAPHAN SME, increasing participants' knowledge about the prevention and transmission of HIV / AIDS and drug abuse.
Meanwhile, Chairman of SME MAPHAN UNM, Muhammad Kahfi Sofyan Said PEN-4 is the door to enterING SME MAPHAN in the sense that here we will be equipped with knowledge related to HIV / AIDS and DRUGS, and also when it has graduated in the SERIES OF PEN-4 then becomes a member of SME MAPHAN, and is also able to become a regeneration cadre who has loyalty, quality and high integrity in accordance with our expectations that have been included in the theme of "realizing creative generation, innovative, and has high integrity in increasing concern".
In his speech Prof. Dr.. Sukardi Veda, S.S., M.Hum. said that MAPHAN SME activities are very useful for students as the nation's successor who must have tremendous care to guide the community and build the nation without contracting drugs and other illegal drugs that can damage the nation's younger generation.
"Hopefully this PEN-4 activity can be useful for students who follow because there are five things that are needed in the organization, namely Do, Perform, Integrate, Professional and Communicate / Network and hopefully MAPHAN SMEs can be a place or container to build a network".
