UNM Lecturers and Employees Undergo Second Phase Of Vaccine

The academic community of Makassar State University (UNM) was again given the Covid-19 Vaccination. The injection of the second dose of vaccine took place in the Pinisi Tower Court for 2 days, Tuesday and Wednesday, (23 and 24/03/2021).

UNM Rector Prof. Husain Sham again became the first person at UNM to get the second dose of vaccine injection followed by lecturers and other employees.

The professor of agriculture after the vaccine said, after the first and second stage of the vaccine that had just been done, he did not feel any symptoms or negative effects.

"I've been vaccinated in the second stage and God willing there's nothing negative that I feel, everything is fine," he said.

According to him, by doing the vaccine is already an effort to minimize the spread of Covid-19. Moreover, he said, this vaccine is a national program. UNM as part of the government has a responsibility to succeed this vaccination.

"I hope that today's vaccination can run smoothly, this is part of our contribution to cut the chain of transmission of covid-19. UNM is part of the disoroang and supports government programs," said Husain Sham, Tuesday (03/23/2021).

He added that all lecturers and employees make the best possible use of their time to carry out this second stage of vaccination.

After being given the vaccine, Husain Sham appealed to lecturers and employees to maintain health protocols.

"Despite the vaccine, I hope we keep the health protocols in order. Keep wearing masks and keep your distance, to stop the transmission of Covid-19," he explained.

Vaccinations organized by UNM are a collaboration and government support, especially the Makassar City Health Office and South Sulawesi Province.
