UNM and Lapas Klas 1 Makassar Cooperation in Making Alma mater Suits

Rector of Makassar State University (UNM) Prof. Husain Sham visited The Correctional Institution Klas I Makassar. The visit was in order to directly monitor the process of making unm alma mater suits. Thursday (6/5/2021)

Interestingly, UNM cooperated with Lapas Klas I Makassar in producing 2,000 alma mater suits that were carried out directly by correctional residents (WBP).

During his visit, Prof. Husain Sham said this cooperation is a good step in providing skills to the built citizens, one part of UNM to always be able to benefit the community, especially to the Community So that they have skills.

"This is a good cooperation to empower the built citizens, provide skills to the built citizens, this is just we find good cooperation in order to build and provide skills, This is really direct production so that it can look quality skills if this is good of course we will increase cooperation," he said.

Prof. Husain also hopes that this cooperation can be improved in various aspects, so that it can continue to synergize.

"This is a good cooperation, not only this, there are many other things that can be cooperated, there are psychology students there are institutions we do assessments to stay in the position where it is built," he hoped.

Meanwhile, The Head of Regional Office (Kakanwil) Kemenkumham Sulsel, Harun thanked UNM for entrusting the creation of alma mater to the residents of Lapas Correctional Facility Class 1 Makassar.

"The kemenkuham regional office is grateful to the Rector of UNM, who has ordered 2000 alma mater suits now have completed almost 500 suits this pride for us," he said.

He guarantees the proxy of UNM alma mater suits is done carefully and neatly so that in terms of quality is not inferior to the previous alma mattar suit.

"This jacket product is under the supervision of good quality control, insyallah quality above the addresser suit exemplified," he explained.

He also hopes that The Kemenkumham Sulsel Can continue to synergize with UNM.

"We hope that in the future there will be more positive synergies. We have made a UNM MoU on Intellectual Property" he concluded.
