In the opportunity of socialization in the field of planning and cooperation at the Faculty of MIPA, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Sports Science, and Faculty of Economics, M. Ichsan Ali, Vice Rector 4 of UNM explained the rector's decision and juknis related to the obligation of scientific publications for students and lecturers in the UNM environment.
With this juknis, the unit leader can encourage the academic community among their respective units to race and encourage each other in this field of publication. The increase in the number of indexed scientific publications is our common expectation in supporting the vision and mission of the Rector of UNM, Prof. Dr.. Husain Sham, UNM to world class university.
"We have the potential for publication of a large reputable international journal both from students and from among lecturers", said M Ichsan Ali. Furthermore, the Vice Rector for Work shows the potential of UNM, namely the competence of our undergraduate, S2 and S3 students who every year the better the quality. By maximizing the potential for, the number of reputable UNM international publications will increase.
This addition can also be done among UNM lecturers because various research schemes have been formulated to improve this international publication.
Specialized international publications in globally indexed journals can affect UNM's ranking in the world. To support these efforts, the Vice Rector for Cooperation and Planning is very committed to increasing the publication so that several years unm ranking in the world and nationally becomes taken into account both among the Institution of Higher Education (LPTK) and outside the LPTK.
