The Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) held a Coordination Meeting on Implementation Preparation in the Department of Force ll 2021, at The Rinra Hotel, Tuesday (4/5/2021).
The event was attended by vice rectors, Deans and Lecturers and Teachers of Pamong as many as 212 people.
Head of PPG Darmawan program reported the number of PPG students in stage 2 as many as 564 people from 23 provinces in Indonesia, which are divided into 7 fields of study and will be divided into 19 study groups.
"I report that the number of PPG students in the 2nd stage consists of 7 fields of study, as many as 564 people who will be divided into 19 study groups," he explained.
Meanwhile, in his direction the Rector of UNM Prof. Husain Sham revealed that the national Teacher Competency Examination (UKG) score was below the national average.
Thus he appealed to the companions, in this case lecturers and teachers must be able to prepare and maximize all teaching devices and materials. So as to be able to produce the quality of teachers in terms of national standards.
"We must acknowledge and realize that from a number of professions following PPG, the average UKG value is low, based on normal assessments are much less. This means that the portrait of our teachers throughout Indonesia is still low," he said.
Prof. Huasain sham also emphasized through this activity can provide debriefing and direction to all escorts.
"Through this activity, please give emphasis to the lecturers and teachers. And to the escorts do not just fulfill the obligations, make sure the material is good. "It's not just coming in," he hopes.
