Utilizing Livestock Waste So Biogas and Bio Fertilizer, PHP2D HMO FT-UNM Team Successfully Launch and Socialize

Holistic Program empowerment and village development (PHP2D) Automotive Student Association (HMO) Faculty of Engineering (FT) Makassar State University (UNM) Successfully launched and socialized the implementation of PHP2D at Laikang Village Hall, Mangarabombang Subdistrict, Takalar Regency, Saturday (14/8).
Launching and Socialization was attended directly by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni (WR III) Prof. Dr.. Sukardi Weda, Secretary of the Department of Agriculture and Food Security of Takalar Ir Regency. H. Ikbal Rashid. MM. Daeng Situru, Head of Laikang Village, Amir S.Sos, Laikang Village Device, Karang Taruna Youth, and Laikang Village community.

In his speech WR III UNM Prof. Dr.. Sukardi Weda said, this PHP2D activity as a community partner in developing the potential of existing resources in Laikang Village. He also gave appreciation to the PHP2D HMO FT-UNM team for being able to organize such activities in pandemic conditions.
"As a partner of the laikang village community in developing the potential of renewable energy sources and I appreciate the PHP2D HMO FT-UNM team for the implementation of this activity even in pandemic conditions. Hope in the future so that the team and the community can synergize in succeeding this program, "he said.

In the dossing activity, the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture and Food Security of Takalar Regency, Ir. H. Ikbal Rashid. MM Daeng Situru also provides education to the public about "Potential For Livestock Manure as a Future Energy Source" and "Food Security with Organic Fertilizers".
"It is our hope that this PHP2D activity does not reach here but continues to be sustainable, so that Laikang Village can become our partner, and through this PHP2D activity, our students can apply the learning that has been obtained from campus," said a companion lecturer of the PHP2D HMO FT-UNM team, Dr. Dr. Moh. Ahsan S. Mandra M.T.
The implementation of PHP2D activities by empowering the community of Laikang Village based on the utilization of livestock waste into biogas and bio fertilizer to support renewable energy and food security programs lasted approximately 4 months in Laikang Village mangarabombang district of Takalar regency.
