The implementation of computer-based writing examination (UTBK) for the joint selection path for state universities (SBMPTN) wave I and 2 at Makassar State University (UNM) is finally over and running smoothly.
This was conveyed directly by the Rector of UNM, Prof. Husain Sham accompanied by the Vice Rectors, Deans and Leaders of the UNM scope when conducting a press conference at the Rector's office house, Jalan Andi Djemma, Friday (30/4/2021)
Prof. Husain Syam said the Admission of New Students (PMB) at State Universities (PTN) in Indonesia was organized by the Institution of Higher Education Entrance Test (LTMPT) one of them through the SBMPTN Line.
Utbk selection process at the headquarters of 712 UNM was followed by 15,886 participants and divided into two waves. Attendance in the first wave was followed by 93.16 percent or 10,198 participants.
While in the second wave also equivalent to 93.64 percent or 4,625 participants who attended. That is, the attendance rate of UTBK SBMPTN applicants this year is still relatively normal.
"From the beginning we have said that everything went smoothly until the first stage and the second stage, according to our records it is relatively smooth," said Prof. Husain Sham.
According to the Professor of agriculture, the attendance rate of UTBK participants is almost evenly distributed throughout Indonesia, even utbk 712 UNM headquarters is high because it is at 93 percent.
"So that's the level of presentation of our registrant attendance at UNM even before the Covid-19 pandemic was like that. This means that nationally we consider it still normal, so it is not too used as an evaluation material, because this is still normal," he explained.
Likewise with disabled participants who follow the UTBK SBMPTN process at UNM, while the disabled participants numbered 19 people, from the blind 12 people and the blind 7 people.
Prof. Husain Syam also conveyed the number of UTBK participants who will be accepted at UNM this year as many as 3,407 out of 15,886 applicants, with a presentation that on the SBMPTN line this year there are about 40 percent of the quota that will be filled.
"Thank God we have ended in accordance with planning and expectations, in the future we will hold a meeting with the central committee, then the announcement will be announced on June 14, 2021," said the owner of the Title of Principal Professional Institute (IPU).
